Apostle William M. Dawson is a retired Non-commissioned Officer of the United States Air Force, He is a graduate of Saint Leo University, in which he holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Religion and Theology, a graduate of Virginia Union, Samuel D. Proctor School of Theology, in which he holds a Master of Divinity, a graduate of Strayer University, Jack Welch Management Institute, in which he holds a Master of Business Administration and he has completed his academic requirements towards a Doctorate in Pastoral Leadership at Regent University in Virginia Beach but not his Dissertation. He serves as Senior Pastor of the Mount Gilead Church in Williamsburg, Virginia where he has served faithfully for almost 20 years along with his wife, Elder Beverly A. Turman-Dawson. He is also the Chief Executive Officer and visionary for the Gilead Community Development Corp & WMD Ministries.
Founder and the Apostolic Prelate
He is also the founder and the Apostolic Prelate of the Kingdom of Priest Covenant Fellowship, a Global Apostolic network of churches and para-churches throughout the United States, South Africa, India, Mexico, Kenya, France, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Condo, Rwanda and the Philippines; the founder of SoAM the School of Apostolic Ministry an educational vehicle for the Kingdom of God. Apostle Dawson is a unique orator who combines the Apostolic authority of God’s Kingdom intertwined with the relevance of social changes today!
This progressive, Kingdom minded man of God leads both Mount Gilead along with Pastor Beverly A. Turman-Dawson to fulfill the Kingdom mandate of: “Empowering God’s people to: Pursue His Presence! Fulfill His Purpose! and Demonstrate His Power and His Glory!” Under his leadership, he has led the church and its Community Development Corp. to advance the Kingdom into the marketplace by building and renovating affordable housing, operating a Christian Academy, opening the Seeds of Faith Christian Bookstore, along with implementing a multitude of community initiatives such as Adult Literacy, and Gang Violence & Youth Awareness.
Traveling the World
He travels extensively throughout United States, Africa, Egypt, Israel, France, India and the Philippines in demonstration of God’s power and His spirit!
God has gifted this visionary leader with an Apostolic mandate to “Go ye therefore!” in declaring the Kingdom of God, so that the whole earth will be filled with the knowledge of His glory!
Born in Salem, New Jersey, Apostle Dawson has been married to Elder Beverly A. Turman-Dawson and they are the proud parents of Jazmine and Jessica as well as proud grandparents!
